I've noticed a few tweets about this topic this week on Twitter. We've probably all heard of the name game where you take your mother's maiden name, your first pet, your school or your street and put a combination of two together to create a 'porn name' or a 'hollywood name' etc. It's harmless fun, right?
Not quite is the new thinking because these snippets of information or often things that banks ask for in order to confirm your identity or the info other sites need to reset passwords. Have you just freely given that info away?

I've heard that before, but never worried because I don't use those things as clues. Lots of people already know my mum's maiden name so that would be silly. (Esp as it's really easy to remember - Taylor).
I hope other people are being similarly cautious though, it wouldn't surprise me at all if that's why these games were invented. Someone told me years ago that those emails you have to forward to 10 people are just a way of collecting email addresses for spam, so I never do those. They're usually scammy, if not outright spammy anyway...

Whatever the reason, we should be cautious on giving out information. Identity theft is very scary. On the lighter side, I would like to share something nice.We can win 500,000 smackin' World of Warcraft gold! Check out wowgoldpig.blogspot.com/. It's extended until June 30.
